Withrow Lineage: Mary Matilda Withrow Thomas Joshua Withrow ended up in after he left Rawden,Nova Scotia. He ran away at about age 14 from a super religious step mother (this is the story) and he and a friend got on a ship and became cabin boys on the Atlantic to the US. Eventually  Thomas Joshua Withrow jumped ship in Boston and worked rendering lard in a soap factory, (sounds horrible) and was living in the tenement house where he met Catherine Mary Cleary who was my grandmother Lenore (nee Myers) Winslow's Great grandmother. Kathleen (nee Stein) Meyer (me); my grand mother was Lenore (nee Myers) Winslow; Harriet Estelle Decoster is my great grandmother and daughter of Arthur L. and Mary M. (Withrow) Decoster who was born on 30 June 1888 at Lincoln, Polk County, Wisconsin.[1][2] Harriet Estelle Decoster married Verne Myers on 28 Nov. 1903 at St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota.[3] and later divorced and remarried Carl Decoster
