I was born and raised in Webb City, MO. I'm married to Doug, and we have two kids and two grandkids. We're kind of retired, but my husband is working toward a second career in golf. We moved from Joplin, MO to Florida in 2014, then to Lee's Summit, MO in 2016. I love to garden, paint, take photos, travel and spend time in genealogy. I am the researcher for my family and my husband's family.

I was born in Webb City the next year. Maternal grandmother Lucille Madelene Bogardus Wilson Lynn Born August 7, 1916 in Duenweg, Jasper Cty, MO to Clayton & Nellie Bogardus Maternal ggrandmother Nellie Edelle Gilliam Bogardus Born Sept. 7, 1898 in Cocke Cty, TN to Jason & Cora Gilliam Nellie moved with her family to MO after 1902. She moved in the sixties to Washington State, passing away in 1985. Maternal gggrandparents Jason Boragard Gilliam & Cora Edna Stephens Jason Born July 24,1861 in Rockingham Cty, NC to Calvin & Mary Gilliam Cora Born Nov. 30, 1864 in NY They were married January 7, 1885 in Oregon Hill, Rockingham Cty, North Carolina. Nellie was seventh of eleven children, most of whom were born in Tennessee. They moved the family to Jasper Cty, MO sometime between 1902 and 1907. By the 1910 US Census they were living in Newton Cty, MO. Jason and Cora are buried in Hornet Cemetery, Hornet, MO. Maternal ggggrandparents Calvin W. Gilliam & Mary Emily Withrow Calvin born to William J. Gilliam & Judith in 1813, Buckingham Cty, VA Mary born to James Withrow & Erixanna Caroline Wells in 1825, Rutherford Cty, NC They were married February 25, 1850 in Rutherford Cty, NC. Jason was fourth of six children.
